AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet either of the following two routes:
- Route I: B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing OR Post-Certificate/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute or university, with registration as Nurse & Midwife (State or Indian Nursing Council).
- Route II: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institute/board/council, with Nurse & Midwife registration, plus 2 years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital (after obtaining qualification).

Selected Nursing Officers will be placed at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9,300–34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/-), under Group-B classification, along with usual central government allowances.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
Selection is made through a two-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- Stage I – NORCET Preliminary: 90 minutes, 100 MCQs (100 marks) – 20 questions on General Knowledge & Aptitude and 80 on Nursing subjects. Negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Qualifying stage only, not used for final merit.
- Stage II – NORCET Mains: 180 minutes, 160 case-scenario-based MCQs (160 marks) covering the nursing syllabus. Negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Final merit is based solely on Stage II performance.
Qualifying marks for Stage I: 50 percentile (UR/EWS), 45 percentile (OBC), 40 percentile (SC/ST), with 5 percentile relaxation for PWBD. Qualifying marks for Stage II: 50% (UR/EWS), 45% (OBC), 40% (SC/ST), with 5% relaxation for PWBD.
